I get asked this question often......
What is a Certified Legal Document Preparer?... (or "CLDP" for short)
Being a CLDP means that I am certified by the Supreme Court to prepare or provide legal documents, without the supervision of an Attorney, for an entity or a member of the public who is engaging in self representation in any legal matter. Just to become certified you must:
- Pass an examination,
- Possess at minimum two (2) years of law related experience under the supervision of a licensed attorney
- Complete the Certified Legal Document Preparer application.
The application is then approved by the Board of Legal Document Preparers which consists of:
- Five (5) CLDP
- One (1) Judge
- One (1) Clerk of the Court
- One (1) Attorney
- Two (2) public members
- And one (1) additional member appointed by the Chief Justice of Supreme Court.
I have almost 10 years of extensive legal experience drafting documents in various matters. I am telling you this because I want to be the person you think of first when you have a legal need. If you need legal advice, I have Attorney's that I refer to who will meet with you at an affordable price and give you the legal advice you need. Please check out my website www.dynastylegaldoc.com
